RDM at Noon
The project “Research Data Management at Bremen University of Applied Sciences (FDM@HSB)” invites researchers and all interested parties to a short introduction to the topic of data management plans as part of the event series “RDM at noon"!
Another event of the Research Data Management (FDM@HSB) project is coming up! This information event offers researchers and all interested parties the opportunity to gain an insight into the importance of Data Management Plans and their specific requirements. The event is part of our new series 'RDM at noon' and is aimed at a broad audience.
Some researchers may have been confronted with data management plans when applying for funding. But what exactly is a data management plan and what benefits does it bring to researchers?
A data management plan (DMP) is a research data management tool that helps researchers to manage their data in a systematic way. It describes in detail how the research data generated and used in the project should be handled. The DMP includes information on the type and quantity of data, their processing, storage, archiving and publication.
Further events are planned to provide insight into other areas of research data management, such as (long-term) archiving and data provision.
Anyone working in research or simply interested in what a DMP actually is is invited to attend.
