The model shop is complemented by the Plot Shop - a student-run facility that can provide all the paraphernalia needed for modeling - and drawing needs, and most are available for purchase on site.
"A model says more than 1,000 words".
In this sense, the laboratory for model construction on approx. 170 sqm offers students the possibility to experience and understand their not yet tested concepts and ideas three-dimensionally and to realize their projects uncomplicated and directly in a reduced scale.
From the 10-minute working model to the "showroom model", from the "sample board" to small furniture or even from the "design-mokup" to the "prototype", all kinds of different models can be created here. The lab is supervised by an architect with international experience and 20 years of know-how in model making/multimedia.
