The EU-funded STARS EU university alliance has launched a series of online seminars. Here, experts from various fields who are part of the network will present innovative projects and ideas. The event will start on Wednesday, 17 April 2024. It will focus on more sustainable materials and processes in shoe and handbag production. Speaker is María José Ferreira, Director of Research and Quality at Portugal's Footwear Research Centre (CTCP).
The seminar series "STARS EU Talks" is organised via Zoom and is aimed at students, teachers, researchers and the interested public. The seminars are held in English. The format is simple: the presentations will be short (between 15 and 45 minutes) and there will be time for discussion and questions from the audience. It is planned to organise one of these STARS EU Talks regular – a total of ten per year.
Participation is free of charge and prior registration is not required. Please feel free to attend.
For some years now, Hochschule Bremen (HSB) has been working together with eight other international universities to shape a joint European university: STARS EU – short for Strategic Alliance for Regional Transition European University.
The concept of strategic networking and systematically interlinked cooperation formats in teaching, research, and science transfer is already having a tangible impact, contributing to the sustainable transformation of the respective regions and thus of Europe as a whole. The EU is funding STARS EU.
