The Steering Committee of the STARS EU alliance met at Hochschule Bremen (HSB) for a working meeting in May 2024. The acronym stands for Strategic Alliance for Regional Transition European University.
In intensive discussions, the committee dealt with the following aspects of the project work, among others:
With its eight partner universities in the Netherlands, Sweden, France, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Poland and Albania, HSB is developing new teaching and learning formats, university development and research projects in STARS EU, in which the pressing issues of the day are addressed on a transnational basis. The focus is on topics such as the energy transition, the circular economy, start-ups and innovation or health. The respective regions and their companies also benefit from STARS EU. The alliance is funded by the European Union.
