We define digitalisation as a cross-sectional area encompassing the further development of IT services and systems that brings with it the need for corresponding organisational development in order that the digitalisation process can effectively unfold across the university. An operational process model for digitalisation has been developed for this purpose that illustrates concrete fields of action in which further development is to be addressed on an ongoing basis.
