Activity Programme for exchange students

Each semester we put together a special leisure and cultural programme for our international exchange students.

You will get to know Bremen and the region and learn more about life in Germany and German culture. Depending on the season, we offer a variety of events like lectures, game nights or indoor and outdoor activities:
In spring and summer we organise barbecues, picnics or stand-up paddle boarding. In the colder seasons we bake cookies with you, visit the Bremen fun fair "Freimarkt" or go on excursions in the surrounding area. At the beginning of each semester there is a bicycle tour and a guided city tour in Bremen.
In addition, every Friday our Cafe International takes place under the motto "Meet. Welcome. Chat. Play.", where you can meet and have fun with other students (local and international) while enjoying music, snacks and drinks.

We hope that this activity programme will contribute to make your stay with us a most successful, enjoyable and memorable experience. We look forward to seeing you at the various events and activities.

Most activities are for free and offered in English, if not this will be stated in the e-mail
For some events you have to register early. We will inform you about current offers and the registration deadlines via e-mail.
Sometimes there is a participant limit so in case we get too many registrations, we will draw participants. Students who do not get a place have a chance to move up via the waiting list.
