Britta Lüder studied geography at the Philipps University of Marburg. She completed her doctorate at the University of Bremen in the field of climate and environmental research. Supported by a Marie Curie Fellowship from the EU, she was able to conduct research at the University of Bergen (Norway) for a year during her doctorate.
Between 2007 and 2015, Britta Lüder worked in the EU Liaison Office Hanover/Hildesheim at Leibniz University Hanover, focusing on EU application advice and project management, and was Head of the EU Liaison Office from 2012 to 2015.
Britta Lüder has been working at Bremen University of Applied Sciences since 2015, where she initially set up the EU research funding service as part of the BMBF project "EU-Strategie-FH" and subsequently the Research and Transfer Unit, which she has headed ever since. From 2019 to the beginning of 2024, she was also a member of the University Management as Vice-President of Research and Transfer and was strategically responsible for Research and Transfer at Bremen University of Applied Sciences.
